Cranberry Holiday Sangria

Created in partnership with our friends at Just a Taste, the Wineberry Punch Holiday Cocktail is a delight to the senses. Craft with your choice of sweet or dry red wine to achieve your ideal experience.

Ingredients:

16oz red wine of your choice (we used Winemaker Norton 42)

8 oz Cranberry Wine

4oz Raspberry Wine

4 oz fresh orange juice

Ice

3 oz chilled Sprite

Lemon, Lime, Orange thinly sliced zest for garnish.

Instructions:

In a pitcher, combine the wines and juices. Refrigerate until chilled, about 2 hours. Stir well and pour into ice-filled white wine glasses. Top each cocktail with ½ oz of Sprite and garnish with the citrus fruit zests.

 

 

Cranberry Moscow Mule

Ingredients

3 oz. St. James Winery Cranberry Wine
1 oz. Vodka
½ oz. Fresh lime juice
3 oz. Ginger Beer

Instructions

Combine ingredients in glass filled with ice.

Glassware: 15 oz. Double Rocks or Mule Mug

Optional Garnish: Rosemary Sprig, Candied Cranberries or Orange Wedge

Cranberry Wine Martini

Our unique spin on a classic martini, the festive Crantini is the perfect way to entertain your guests during the holidays. Crafted with just three ingredients – Cranberry wine, vodka, and a twist of lemon or lime, the holiday flavors and color shine brilliantly. Mix the wine and vodka in a cocktail shaker with ice, then strain into a martini glass. Garnish with fresh lemon and lime.

  1. In a large pitcher, mix a bottle of Velvet White with the fresh orange juice and lime juice.
  2. Refrigerate for approximately 2 hours until chilled.

Serving Suggestion

Recommended to serve in tall glasses filled with ice. Pour the cocktail over the ice, garnish with an orange or lime slice and enjoy!

  1. Pour the wine into a snifter glass.
  2. Add a splash of brandy or moonshine
  3. Stir with cinnamon stick garnish

  1. Mix the wine and 1/2 the cucumber, limes, grapes, and chopped mint.
  2. Chill in the refrigerator for 4 hours or overnight.
  3. Strain the fruit off wine, then add the remaining cucumber, grapes, lime, and whole mint in a pitcher or drink dispenser.
  4. To make as a batch for a drink dispenser, stir in seltzer, and serve immediately. To serve as individual drinks, mix 1/2 seltzer and 1/2 wine in individual tall glasses.

Cook’s Notes

For a slightly sweet sangria use St. James Winery Friendship School White. For a slightly drier sangria, go choose the Pioneer White.
