Midwest’s Favorite Sweet Wines Since 1970!
Inspired by the Italian immigrants who first settled in St. James, Missouri, the Heritage Collection reflects the enduring spirit of our region and the community that built it. The label designs feature illustrations of Missouri wine country and the historic Friendship School House, a symbol of connection and culture that still stands near our Zuppo and Frederick vineyards.
Velvet Red and Velvet White—two of the first wines crafted by founders Jim and Pat Hofherr in 1970—have remained customer favorites for over 50 years, known for their smooth, sweet profiles and timeless appeal.
Pink Catawba features the delicate Hawthorn bloom, Missouri’s state floral emblem, representing hope and resilience. Country White showcases the Honeybee, a nod to the harmony between nature and hard work. Country Red is adorned with the Bluebird, a symbol of happiness and renewal.
Together, these wines honor the heritage of the land we’ve called home for generations—and the story we continue to share, one bottle at a time.
