Nothing brings a community together like music. For their inaugural Heritage Music Festival, Public House Brewing Company and St. James Winery have put together a lineup of bands that honor the area’s rich folk, country and bluegrass music traditions.

The all-day music festival on Saturday, June 24 is at The Gardens at St. James from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. The Gardens, located between the brewery and winery (551 State Route B, St. James, Mo. 65559), is a beautifully landscaped outdoor seating area.

Jack Grelle, one of Rolling Stone’s 1n0 ew country artists you need to know, is headlining the festival. The other bands performing include:

  • Rosa String Works
  • Trilogy
  • Dead End Road
  • Tyler Elliott and Justyn Moreland
  • Rosewood Band

Tickets are $5. Children under 5 are free. The ticket provides all-day entry into The Gardens to listen to the bands. Guests will receive a wristband at the gate that allows them to come and go as they please. Public House beer and St. James Winery wine and cider will be available to purchase, along with made-from-scratch food and wood-fired pizzas from Public House’s menu. Guests can bring their own seating, such as folding chairs or blankets, as the available seating in The Gardens is limited.

Part of the proceeds from the festival benefits the Friendship School Foundation, an organization dedicated to engaging and educating the Missouri craft beverage industry and local community on environmental, social, cultural and economic sustainability best practices.
