Mulled Cherry Wine

  • 1 bottle St. James Winery Cherry Wine
  • 8-10 whole cloves
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 lime thin sliced for garnish
  • juice from 1/2 lime
  • 1/2 cup pineapple juice
  • 1 tsp crystalized ginger (optional)

Instructions

  1. Combine all the ingredients in a crock pot and heat through on medium / high.
  2. Do not boil the wine.

Notes

You may mix the ingredients a day ahead and store in refrigerator to allow flavors to blend before heating.

Variations

Reduce St. James Winery Cherry Wine to 1/2 a bottle, and use 1/2 bottle St. James Winery Blackberry Wine for Black Cherry Flavors.
