Created with fall sipping in mind, Cranberry Apple Cider combines the best of the season – St. James Winery Cranberry wine, fresh juices, and whole spices. Mixed and warmed in a slow cooker, it’s easy and oh-so-delicious!
Ingredients:
1 bottle (750ml) St. James Winery Cranberry Wine
3 cups apple juice
1.5 cups orange juice
3 whole cinnamon sticks
1 tsp. whole cloves
1 – 12 ounce package of fresh cranberries (optional)
1 red apple, thinly sliced (optional)
Directions:
Mix all of the ingredients in a large slow cooker. Heat on low for 3-4 hours or until hot and the spices are mulled. Ladle the cider into your favorite mug, sip, and relax. Keep the cider on warm and serve out of the crock for an evening of sipping and sharing, or refrigerate leftover Cranberry Apple Cider for re-heating and enjoying later.
