Halloween is almost here! Make your party frightful with our devilishly delicious cocktails to serve your ghosts… ahem… guests.

Our Black Widow Punch is a hauntingly dark drink perfect for your Monster Mash. For a svelte, mysterious presentation, we recommend serving in a martini glass with dry ice. Featuring our Blackberry fruit wine, this drink is sure to satisfy a deadly hunger for something sweet.

Next, is our Redrum Sangeria. This killer recipe calls for either our Pioneer Red or Friendship School Red wines and presents a blood red color that is beautifully presented in a any witch’s cauldron. Use orange slices for garnish to add a punch of seasonal color.

Lastly, may we suggest trying our Not-So-Poisoned Apple Punch. Unlike Snow White, your guests can experience this delicious punch without fear. Try this recipe with our Moscato or Riesling wines and add any ripe, red apples of your choice.

All of these wines are available in stores, online and in our Tasting Room. Happy Halloween from the St. James Winery family!

  • 12 oz orange juice
  • 6 oz pineapple juice

  • 8 fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 1 whole orange, sliced

Ingedients

Instructions

  1. Pour wine into a large pitcher and stir in apples. Place in the refrigerator and allow to sit for at least 2 hours and up to 24 hours.
  2. Add champagne/sparkling wine, stir and serve.

Notes

If your apples turn brown during the infusion process, strain them out and replace with fresh ones just before before adding the sparkling wine and serving.

The fresh apples WILL float to the top for a bit, but the sangria will stay just as delicious.
