Christmas in The Gardens
St. James Winery and Public House Brewing Company are excited to announce our first annual Christmas in The Gardens event. This family-friendly event celebrates the holidays with a special Christmas market and tree lighting, along with our warm fire pit, visits from Santa and friends, kids’ craft making and cookie decorating, holiday music and dance, unique winery and brewery experiences and delicious holiday food and drink.
Join us on Saturday, December 10, 2016 from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. at our festive Fermentation Campus (540 State Route B, St. James, MO 65559), which includes the St. James Winery Tasting Room, the Public House Brewing Company: St. James Taproom and The Gardens at St. James (located between the two).

Winery & Brewery Tours

($30 each; limited to 25 participants; purchase tickets from the St. James Winery Tasting Room on the day of the event; must be 21 years old to participate)
Enjoy a guided tasting with Executive Winemaker Andrew Meggitt, sampling 11 exclusive St. James Winery Norton wines from 2004 to the latest Norton vintage straight from the barrel. Experience the seasonal changes between vintages, as well as the surprising aging differences of cork and screw cap closures.
3:00 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. | Public House Brewing Company Tour and Beer Sensory Experience
($25 each; includes your choice of one six-pack of beer or cider to take home; limited to 25 participants; purchase tickets from the Public House: St. James Taproom on the day of the event; must be 21 years old to participate)
Owner and Brewmaster Josh Stacy walks participants through how beer is made and shows you the 20-barrel brew house. Participants will get a hands-on explanation of ingredients used to make beer and how different combinations and amounts create different beer styles. Enjoy several beer samples throughout the experience. Participants should be prepared to have their knowledge tested, with beer rewards for correct answers!
