When we opened our doors for business in November 1970, Velvet Red and Velvet White were two of our original offerings. Year in and year out, Velvet Red and Velvet White have been bestsellers, and have since become two of the most awarded sweet red wines and sweet white wines in the country. Pink Catawba joined the St. James Winery family of sweet wines later in our first decade of business. Made from the Catawba grape, our Pink Catawba is a lovely rose color with a delightful balance of sweetness and tartness like a ripe apple.
